In early 1920's Southern California, a revival of Mediterranean and Spanish architecture created a demand by homeowners and builders for a convenient source of distinctive tile designs.Tile of Luxury's California Collection continues the tradition of original Malibu and Catalina tile. The elegant Catalina Island estate home of William Wrigley, Jr., of Wrigley chewing gum fame, was one of the first homes to feature this tile that soon became synonymous with Southern California style.
